Dark Jazz 2 is our second album of collaborations, experiments, one-offs and improvs. Much of the material was gleaned from rehearsals and informal jams, many recorded on phones. Our collaborators then took these and morphed, twisted, rearranged and reconfigured them to create new and vibrant works from their restless imaginations. The result - Unkempt Magic.
Our most experimental outing yet, Dark Jazz 2 aims to reach those parts of the shared musical universe that are less commonly roamed and revealed.
